Bob Luken, Chapter President
Bob is building a Fisher Celebrity and is active in the Red Cross. He is continuing as President of our Chapter.
Richard Elliott, Vice President - Dick has been an outstanding asset to our chapter. His demonstration in several "hands on" skill areas is appreciated by all. He most likely has the best collection of tools and definitely the most homebased forklifts. Dick is a Director of telecommunications for Warren County and has lived in Waynesville since 1961.  He grew up with the Stewarts and took flight instruction from Red himself. His most memorable flight was his solo and shortly after obtained his private license in 1974. He joined the on field flying club and recalls many enjoyable hours flying the club Taylorcraft for $3.50/ hour wet! After the Taylorcraft was ground looped and sold for $750, the club bought a Cessna ..."boring" was Dick's opinion. So it should come at no suprise that a taildragger would be his plane of choice to build. He is currently building a Cub. and share his knowledge freely with chapter members.
Rich Corbett, Treasurer
Rich is scratch building a Sonex, an all metal monoplane designed by John Monnett with impressive plan created by Pete Buck. His project eventually will be powered by a Jabiru 3300.
Check out the July 2006 meeting Demo.
Dean Mowers-
Ivan Rezner -
Keith Schneider-
Tim Gaffney -
Jim Johnson
Jim is serving again as our chapter Secretary and has also served as Vice President. He has been there when we needed a helping hand.
Chris Palmer
Chris is a Corporate Pilot and Sarah is the Flight Manager for Stewart Field. They both are on a quest for a J-3 Cub and live on a Glider Port. Sounds like a match made in heaven.
Mark Keener
Mark devotes significant effort into making our chapter newsletter informative and and attractive. Be sure to to read each issue as they contain a treasure trove of information pertaining to our EAA chapter and 'the goings on' at Red Stewart Field.
Dean & Gail Besecker - Dean & Gail own a 1946 Akron Funk B. Not many pilots can say that. Dean has served on numerous occasions as Chapter Treasurer and V.P. while Gail has organized our raffle concessions during our Taildragger Fly-In. Both love sport flying and having a good time
Dennis & Jean Boggs - Dennis and Jean are another couple who have joined us in our little adventures. They own a 1956 "Straight Tail" Cessna 172 and Dennis is quite the RC Airplane Master. Dennis smiles a lot and we appreciate that.
Paul "Pappy" Grice - Paul is a Stewart Airfield fixture who learned to fly from Red himself "umpteen" years ago. He has owned a Beech T-34 and currently owns and flies a Piper L-18. We defer all matters involving safety and alcohol to him.
Brett Hunter - Brett is an airline pilot, but is OK - no really. He owns a Pitts dealership at Stewart Field and is the President of IAC Chapter 34. He flies competition and airshows in a Pitts S-2, when not hauling boxes to Des Moines.
Steve & Donna Hanshew - Steve and Donna are charter members, have owned a 1946 BC-12D, currently owning and flying a Nanchang CJ-6A (late of the Chinese Air Force). Steve has served as President and Newsletter editor. Donna has been Treasurer and V.P.. She also flies the Yak. They reside on their own airstrip, appropriately named Donner Field.
Frank & Maureen Howard - Frank and Maureen have been with the Chapter since almost Day One. They own a 1967 Cessna 182 and will soon be residing on a residential airpark north of Goshen, Ohio. Frank has served as President, Newsletter Editor, and V.P. while Maureen was the driving force behind the organization and implementation of our Breakfast Concession during the TDFI. They both are fun folks and Frank has invaluable experience in Tater Guns.
Mark & Coleen Kohl - Mark has served as V.P. and Young Eagles Coordinator and Coleen has served as V.P. and President. See everybody gets their turn in the barrel. They own a 1956 "Straight Tail" Cessna 172 and have a 1946 BC-12D Taylorcraft project in their hangar which was purchased new from the factory and passed down through Mark's Grandfather, Father, to Mark himself - All in the Family.
Gene Ledbetter - Gene is a good old boy with a Kolb Firestar who keeps us on the straight and narrow.
Pat Letarte - Pat has served as V.P. and Treasurer and owns a Fisher Flying Products Dakota Hawk (just recently completed) and has a 1946 Aeronca Champ project. Pat denies that he is French, but he is from Wisconsin.
Bob Louderback - Bob has the longest record as 284 Secretary and has kept us clean with EAA National for many a year. This alone has placed him on our role of honor. He is active with the USAF Museum Restoration crew and can be counted on for a candid assessment when it gets too deep.
Scott Martin - Scott is an USAF Test Pilot and OK guy since he owns a Boeing 450 hp Stearman.
Ken Miracle - Ken is the glue that holds this ragtag group together. He has served as V.P. and President. He is also the master carpenter and architect for every project that requires a hammer and saw.
Greg Parker - Greg is a USAF Aeronautical Engineer, so he's real good at math - a Bonus for us! He is building a sport aerobatic bipe.
Howard Ploegsma - Howard is a good man to have around and is looking forward to the addition of a party deck on our hangar.
Pete & Jeanne Reed - Pete and Jeanne run a Stearman Restoration service, owning a beautiful, award winning, 1941 Stearman. They're good people and ready to lend a hand. They reside on their own strip - Hickory Grove - outside of Goshen, Ohio.
Rich Reinhart - Rich learned to fly at Stewart Field and is restoring a Piper Pacer.
Rick & Kim Sanson - Rick and Kim own a Piper Super Cub and are certifiably mad. This makes them eligible for honorary chapter membership.
Ron Sylva - Ron is looking for a project and appears to be quite sane. I don't know why he likes us.
Sarah Palmer - Chris is a Corporate Pilot and Sarah is the Flight Manager for Stewart Field. They both are on a quest for a J-3 Cub and live on a Glider Port. Sounds like a match made in heaven.
